Crocheted Flower

So as I was laying in bed wondering what adventure or accomplishment I was going to create today I got a text from a friend in the ward. She totally reminded me about crocheting flowers. Now granted the last time I did flowers I was probably 8 and they were just simple little ones that weren't anything to be proud of, but I sure was back then. So today I decided to challenge myself and randomly found a flower with instructions that made no sense to me. I had no idea what ch or tr or hdc meant but I Google Crocheting for Dummies and got that all cleared up :] So this is what I created today. I will probably put it on a headband I'll make later for a little girl. Wouldn't that be just darling! I can also sew them onto onesies or pants and they are just too cute! I'll put pictures of those up when I get them done. Tell me what you think? How did I do for a first timer?

I think my grandma would be very proud of me, she crochets ALL the time :]
