On my last trip home to Boise my Dad sent me home with this old Sunbeam mixmaster that he got from a garage sale for $10! It didn't look this good though, paint was chipped and faded and the engine stunk a little from buildup inside. Years of cake batter and counter grease had taken its toll. My husband and I took it all apart and have been painting and restoring it back to its original beauty, I think its cute :] It's not done yet but I made him put it back together so I could make cookies because the visiting teachers and the Relief Society presidency were coming over (if you don't know what that means check out Mormon.org). Soon I will have a completely restored vintage mixer, it works great and I love it! It works great and has so many different settings. Now I have the creamiest cookies and its so much quicker to make them. It sure beats using a hand mixer to make cookies :] What's your favorite type of cookie? Mines chocolate chip!
